Worksheet Fun

Every child is different and so is his or her learning style. For most of the kids crafting about a topic sparks an instant interest in that topic, but I have seen kids (like my son) who meet the aspect of crafting with a gloomy look. Similarly some children may groan at a suggestion to complete a worksheet, others simply love working in a workbook or worksheet. As parents and educators we must remember that the kids and their learning is what matters and not the tools and mediums used.

Though my kids are a groan-at-worksheet type, I often come across websites which offer lots of free worksheets. I will keep on sharing with you the sites I come across in case you have different kids than mine.

Today’s site is Education Place’s Math Expressions by Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, here you can find free to print worksheets for grades K, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th. The quality of worksheets varies, some are quite amusing and challenging while others are just plain boring. So take a look around and see if you can find something to your and your child’s liking.
