Review: Eduheads is a non-profit organization that works to create unique and educational web activities that are free for teachers, students and parents to use. This website is great because it has original and interactive activities. The activities are all of great high quality. They have colourful graphics and great audio. (At the beginning of activities there is some music, but you can turn it off by clicking on the sound off button.)  EdHead utilizes the Internet to teach more difficult concepts to children. The activities offered include Design a cell phone, Deep brain stimulation, Crash scene investigation, Virtual hip resurfacing, Virtual hip replacement, Virtual knee surgery, Odd machine, Simple machines and weather. All activities are accompanied by notes and ideas for teachers, many other links related to the topic etc. I really liked the virtual surgeries. These activities was great because they go through a virtual hospital with doctors and tools, all which are real world applications. Students have the opportunity to take on the role of the surgeon throughout a total surgery. There are even links to real surgery pictures where students can learn more about this field. You can turn on subtitles so you can practice reading, too. Students will follow instructions to correctly perform a virtual surgery. This is a great activity that provides both fun and educational information for students, and can even spark an interest in that particular field!

Suitable for ages: 7-17  These are activities for different age groups, for example the simple machines activity is suitable for ages around 7-10 year olds but the virtual surgery ones are for older students up to 16 years old.
